      A trip around the historic town of Bern 8-09-14

      Today after breakfast we walked to Wengen station to catch the 09h03 train down the pass to Lauterbrunnen. Down at the station as usual there was our little friendly station cat fast asleep in his basket in the ticket office. What a life he has.

      As per usual here in Switzerland our train arrived right on time. At Lauterbrunnen we changed trains for the journey to Interlaken which took about 50 minutes.

      ... at the hotel - near the bear enclosure. We took some time to to rest before heading to the brewery up the street for dinner. We made friends since the tables we basically sat at the same table and had a great meal of meats, spatlzi, and pretzels. May 15 For Dads birthday we spent the morning exploring the old town of Bern.
