    ... class. Oh dear. Not again. I was tried my hardest to avoid the question but she blocked the hallway and I had to surrender to the fact that she didn't ask me, she told me I was going. No amount of kicking and screaming, not that I had the strength to do either was going to get me out of this one.     ... flight number and only knew they were flying in at 8.15 pm from Funchal. We looked for ages and ages for the flight on the flight screens, but apparently that flight didn't exist. Everyone says that is hard as a pensioner and that they don't have much to do with their bounty of time, yeah right.     ... bridges were stunning, the buildings were all beautiful (again!) and the water in the river was soooo clear - as Neil said, "it's actually too clean for fish!"     ... I went with the other half of the group snowshoeing. I had to rent waterproof pants and still my jeans got soaked. The hike took about three hours and that's not including the time to get up there. Most of the hike was traveling up the mountain and little steps have to be taken and ski poles have to be used or you risk falling into the snow. Now the ending was the fun/aggravating part.
