... We also got puffed out faster which finally clicked as being due to being up so high. There was also even MORE snow up there than there was down in Lauterbrunnen, and while walking around there was the smell of roasting marshmallows. Not kidding. ... Cloud 9, we couldn't stop raving about what just happened, and comparing our flights.

After the flight, we walked around the city until we went back to the hostel to change into cooler clothes and eat lunch. Then we took a huge walk in a big circle around the city seeing all the buildings, looking for chocolate and other Swiss gifts, and just enjoying the scenery. With our hostel we got a free bus pass, so we took the bus to the lake on the West side to ...

... spectacular views we thought we'd see where covered by cloud. Saw glimpses when the clouds parted but not much. Very pretty cold up there at 3??? Metres was about 7. A new James Bond exhibition had just opened in June so we went there. Amazing that it was free. It was very good with memorabilia from the film "on her majesty's secret service which had been filmed there. ...
