... and then checked everything else to make sure nothing was missing. Lucky! I found a cleaning rag and spray bottle on top of my suitcase which had been left by the cleaner so I took those back to reception but also to politely complain. The receptionist was very apologetic and said "this area is very safe but please tell us if anything is missing. Sure, at night the drunk partiers might be a little problem but". ... Wow what an amazing ride that was, had to change cable cars 3 times before we reached the top. Once there the views were breath taking, any pictures we took will not have done it justice it was simply awe inspiring. ... walked along the river to find a cafe that had available seating for us. The shops had all closed up for lunch time and the cafe scene was hopping. It feels to us like the cloak of winter has lifted from this area and people are longing to feel the sun on their faces. We are old and have had enough sun, so we found plenty of open seating on the other side of the river, in the shade. It was yet another lovely meal...but ...
... on the play equipment. Denise suggested a BBQ but there were only spicy sausages etc which I knew the boys wouldn't eat. Bought chicken schnitzel instead and salads and potatoes. Forgot the beers for the boys so they went out to get those. Cooked our food on the BBQ and ate at the table in Denise's apartment which is much nicer dcorated the ours. Had a great meal. Later got the boys to bed and went down and sat outside with Denise and Andy ...
