          ... and peace, since very few others were on the trail. It led from the Allendhubel cogwheel train stop where we had a bite to the southernd end of the valley and down into Murren itself, where of course we stopped in the sun at the terrace of our hotel for a Spritz!

          ... two separate cog trains to the saddle of Jungfrau. The views are sensational even though the weather is less than perfect. It is not cold but there is a lot of cloud cover. We are amazed at the number of people that visit tip his mountain. Just the trade trip alone costs 178 franks. We have to take two separate trains to reach the summit.           ... it when making their business) The walk is short and we find that there is a path that leads you into the mountainside and you can get behind the water fall and look down upon the campsite and some of the village. Its quite slippery as you get closer to the water…. Who would have thought! The sun had well and truly set by then and we got a few photos and took in the sight and headed back down for some dinner.

          ... that travelled across the lake. We dashed down to the boat station to book tickets. Mike and Kyria got there first as I ran back to the car to get my camera. On board the boat, where you book tickets Mike & Kyria found out it was going to be quite expensive, it didn't include food and it was only one way - you had to catch the train back. That wasn't quite what we were expecting. We ummed and ahhed and in the end decided not to do it. It would have been nice...maybe next ...

          ... search of the snow through tiny hamlets and windy mountain tracks until we got above the snow line, it wasn't that impressive just a few pockets of greyish snow hanging about waiting for spring.
