This morning we woke up to the beautiful French countryside in Normandy. We stayed last night in a very small village called Moidrey. We stayed here because of its proximity to Mont Saint-Michel, which is an icon on the northern coast of France. This abbey/monastery is built on a piece of land that becomes an island every time the tide goes out. It is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Anyway, the morning was beautiful, as most have been on this trip. The sun was shining, ...

At first instance, I thought ok, is that his offering to the plants, cuz my homey, those plants DO NOT ...

Day 4: The louvre, rain and operetta

A travel blog entry by sarah_rossie on Jun 13, 2013

Today it looked grey so I thought is do the louvre with my friends.the Aussie was only 18 so super annoying and a bit like a shadow. She didn't say anything interesting and followed us around like a puppy that had been kicked 1 too many times lol. But my American friends were good. They both had an interest in art so it was fun. The line was surprisingly short -through in about 5 minutes! We went to straight to Mona Lisa ...
