    ... When we got back to Lucerne we decided to have some dinner before making our way to the Hotel. There was an issue with the internet, it was not strong enough for the rooms, OK for the reception area though. Also we were desperate to recharge our various devises, phones, readers, iPods and camera batteries after 2 nights on trains and our European power plug didn't fit their outlets, damn!! Narelle gave up and turned in around 8 pm while I caught up on my diary ...

    ... 20th century. These birds are quite large, really graceful and know how to work the tourist audience for snacks. Our group then went on a private cruise around part of the lake. We saw it all - lake, mountains, vivid green fields, huge lakeside villas and castles. Took plenty of photos.     ... bustle of Lucerne. It is a not much to do kind of town, so we blend right in, sharing a bench by the lake with an old woman eating some ice cream.
