We must get some of the ingredients next summer as it is such a refreshing drink. They have one of those little tourist trains that rattle around the city so as we had limited time we gave it a go. ... tea or coffee to finish off. We left at 3.45 in order to get back to the ship on time. A very enjoyable day was had by all. The weather was in the low 20's, just perfect. We sailed at 6.00, and as we weren't very hungary decided to go to the cafeteria for a snack instead of the formal dinner. We have an early start tomorrow in Corfu, Greece. ... way there! Luckily some guys helped us out with what train we needed to catch so as soon as we stopped we ran to the train we needed to catch. We didn't have time to buy tickets so we just hopped on and hoped we wouldn't get fined. When we arrived at Gatwick we had to pay £20 each to get through the barrier. After popping through security we sat down in Whetherspoons thinking we had plenty of time to eat. Wrong again, ...

... and I went to a little cafe for lunch where we shared a pizza and some carbonara pasta. The pizza was ok but the pasta was filthy it was as though they used the left over rind of the bacon to create the dish maybe we should have stuck to the McDonald's. We continued walking around making sure to see as much as we possibly could.

... struggle, but we made the most of it. Venice is a city surrounded completely by water. There are no cars in the city, only boats. We had to take a “water taxi” from the train station to the city. Once in the city, little rivers and canals wind between buildings and homes, and the city becomes a maze. I’ve been told that its the best city to get lost in and wander through. I can see why, around every curve there is a cute bridge, people enjoying boat rides ...
