Today was the last day of the Backroads adventure and ended with a short/relaxing ride prior to saying our goodbyes. After a nice breakfast we all got on our bikes for a ride through Bruges. In started so nice, beautiful morning, sun shining and all our group sticking together and riding as a true group of friends that we have become. When we got back to the town centre, we headed straight for Cambrinus. It was a little later ...

... was an elderl...I was going to say elderly, but I guess he was probably no older than us, but....let's just say he's done some long, hard miles....But the amazing part was that he claims to have a brother and sister living Brisbane...certainly no further than a km from us......

Today I took the train out to Brugge!!! It's An amazing small town. Lots of small shops and restaurants and museums! I fell in love with St. John hospital and went on the best brewery tour I have ever been on - half moon! The town was so cute and romantic I didn't want to leave! Now I'm being forced to pack and head home. WHAT AN AMAZING ...
