Beach day!! Today can be summed up quite simply as a day of sun, relaxation and swimming with a smattering of water sports. ... little wary after our last small boat trip, however we decide this would be good. The view is very nice and the area is popular for absailers, repellents and hikers and looking at the height of the cliffs we understand why.
We enjoy 3 Callanques and during the trip. From the boat we can see these huge cliff faces and Catherine says she will take us up to one of these points after lunch.

... entire top deck crew. Nicios salad and beef on the menu tonight accompanied by a €12 bottle of white wine. 1L bottles which are great and works out about €2 a glass. After dinner we headed off on foot to a local bar "Wayne's Bar" - a fantastic little pub with live music and very very busy!! A fantastic night however it was like a Sauna being about 30 degrees and quite humid. After quite a few bevvies it was back to bed!
... and Amsterdam as rough places to drive but that in no way compares to Nice! Many of you know I do get slightly...slightly anxious when driving in bad weather...well I am adding driving in Vieux NICE cobblestone lanes to that list....Holly cow!!! We headed out on foot down the Promenade des Anglais which runs along the shore front of Nice. This promenade is quite wide and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. There are private beach areas set along here which have restaurants or cafes attached to them. Anybody can use these private beaches, provided you pay.
