    ... music (and there were some), I would have been tempted to stay for a bit but just the thought of an Irish bar put me off.

    The streets were pretty quiet on the way back.

    ... to our visit it had been the sight of the EXIT Festival, which is one of the biggest music festivals in Serbia. Now it was very quiet. We tried to sit in a café in hopes of a little breeze, but no luck. We walked around, be left earlier than intended. Novi Sad was also one of the towns hardest hit in the Kosovo War in 1999.
