          ... are unforgiving.

          This festival has drawn people from all over. I have two American brothers, a Serbian local, a couple of Bulgarians, some Croats and a few Dutch around me. Making for very interesting days. My other friends have splurged for a hotel, not willing to deal with the temperatures in a tent, so late afternoon when they awaken in their AC'd rooms we meet for dinner and drinks.

          So many good acts ...

          ... had the chance to wander around a bit and marvel at the nice set up in the centre of town. Perhaps Hobart should bite the bullet too and create some more pedestrian areas; instead of caving in to the complaints of a few shop-keepers. People will still shop even if they can't park outside the door.

          Today also happened to be the day of the Novi Sad marathon. I would have been kicking myself if there were a ten km run as well but ...

          ... many ways it reminds me of Lucca, Italy.

          Kris and I had a seafood pizza for dinner, and yet again a scrumptious dessert. All for about $13.00.

          This morning we decided to spend one more night here. Our hotel was overbooked,....but they found us a room at their sister hotel down the street. So,....we'll transfer tomorrow,.....and stay another day in this beautiful, ancient city.

          ... reasonable place for dinner. It is one of few places we could find that is a real restaurant instead of bar that serves food, in which food usually takes the back seat.
