Síðdegis var svo haldið í leit að umræddum íshelli. Reyndist um torfarið fjallaskarð að fara (þetta land er ekkert nema fjöll) þar sem við lentum á eftir stórum og þungum flutningabílum sem þurftu óratíma til að komast leiðar sinnar. Brrr, its cold in here
... they have kept filling us up. We got the bright idea to walk home after dinner, where of course we got lost since we had been in Krakow for all of 5 seconds at this point. It was the first time on this trip I felt slightly unsafe, but we made it fine of course. We had drinks at a little bar near the hotel with our 2 British friends and a couple of the Aussie guys. It's so funny how we all apparently speak English but sometimes we have trouble understanding each other.

Home away from home

So I arrived here in Slovakia yesterday after what seemed like an eternity. It took 24 hrs of non stop travel. The airlines were extremely helpful in guiding us and helping my 82 year old dad. They met us at the gate and treated him like he was a king or something. That was really cool. After we got here we were all extremely tired so we crashed. I slept till 12:30 pm today. Passing through the mountain
We're in Slovakia now. Crossing all country from south to north on our way to Krakow. There's thick fog here so not much can be seen. The temperature lowered much. It's about +7-9C here (compare it to +30C in Budapest yesterday). Roads are a bit worse than in Hungary but anyway they're much better than in Ukraine. Plus we're trying to avoid toll roads ...
