          Today we ventured further afield to visit Ascoli Piceno, and explore the old town. We took the little tourist train to get the most out of the visit, which started from the main square - where a lot of the beautiful buildings are built in travertine marble.           ... an "abruzzo style" lunch. Rita insists it's no big deal. 6 courses later we are wondering what a "big deal" might look like. Despite the language barriers, the conversation never wanes. This is a testament to the kindness of the Zippilis. One funny side note/tangent: there was an old I Love Lucy episode where the gang goes to Italy and somehow gets arrested. There was no one who spoke English, but an old drunk spoke Spanish ...

          ... So, there Noah and I sat -- no books, looking around, ... Not much else. While Lisa and Soph looked at home, finding scriptures and reading their WTs. It's a good thing Noah and I both are so relaxed when we are out of out element! The brothers and sisters were so warm and kind to us. One brother spoke a little English and helped us along.
