      The next day we packed a picnic and walked along the coast path in the direction of Ampolla. The weather was glorious with temperatures about 20 degrees and the scenery was really beautiful. We stopped in a little cove for lunch and couldn’t believe that we were actually feeling a bit sunburnt in December, bliss! In the evening we walked back to our little private beach to watch the sunset with a beer, does life actually get much better?

      ... campsite was 5 star luxury with spacious pitches complete with water and waste hook up for only 14 per night. This included free use of their spa facilities, pool, jacuzzi and sauna (which amazingly were open)…..but guess what…….not only did you have to wear speedos but it was also obligatory to wear a swimming hat!!!! The idea of me and Paul sitting in a jacuzzi in swimming hats was way too funny to ...
