    I went in to work for several hours, returning home about 3pm. At 4pm, we left for the airport. We opted to drive, as it just felt too hot to walk to BART. (It was only in the low 80s). Traffic was fine most of the way, except the second span of the Bay Bridge. The line for business class check-in was longish; we then went to the Club to get some more work in.     Yesterday we had the briefing for my next 2 week tour, this time of Northern Slovenia and Croatia and the Italian Alps. My bike is a Suzuki DL 1000 which is the big brother of the 650 I was on for the previous tour. It has more power, more comfort, plus traction control and a slipper clutch.
