Cheetah Park
... long hair over their spots. This afternoon at 4pm (feeding time), we all went out in the back of a ute to see the wild cheetahs. We threw bits of zebra meat to them and we would watch as the cheetahs would jump to catch the meat. It's surprising how close we can get to even the wild cheetahs. It was great to see them and get so close to them.

Beauty in the Desert
I (Liz) was dreading the desert more than any part of the trip. I was expecting unquenchable thirst in an empty wasteland where you have no shade to escape the sun's pounding rays. This wasn’t completely inaccurate, but I was not expecting to find so much beauty in so little.
