A very early start this morning up for breakfast by 7. We then checked out and ordered a taxi to the bus station. Easily found where to buy our bus tickets up to the highlands, bought them loaded our bags on and found our seats. It was a hairy ride up extremely windy roads and a driver in a hurry overtaking as much as possible! Very pretty on the way up not do pretty ...

Georgetown to Cameron Highlands. Sunday: Today we leave and head up to the highlands. Breakfast and all packed up, just waiting for the mini bus now. So back on the road for us properly after some much needed time off, from travelling every few days and sight seeing all day long. The mini bus is pretty much on time and only 2 people so far, so we get some good seats. Soon it starts to fill up and not long after we're on our way. It's roughly 4-5 hours to the Highlands, hopefully it ...

... wearing flip flops the loon!) was climbing down it like it was normal!
At one point I got to the front for a bit and because I didn't want to keep slowing them down I went faster, in some ways this was good as it was getting it over with quicker, but jesus it was hard. Claire said "just think about it, you're trekking in Malaysia, when are you going to get to do that again?" and that really did help thanks Claire. Think if you hadn't ...
