... sun and water, perfect. However, my lunch was horrible (and no-one elses looked much better), which was the only bad thing about the hotel. The Caesar salad was lettuce, too much dressing and anchovies- blergh. That evening was another quiet one; everyone watched Madagascar 3 and went to bed.

Tio Jose and Patricia decided to join us on our ride, and hopped on their motorcycle to tour around the area of Villavicencio. We left Bogota and enjoyed the beautiful, sunny day on the road. Up at 0430. TV still on poolside outside our door with the US election blaring, no one watching. At least the black guy who speaks well and is believable beat the cult flip flopper. Villavicencio is the cattle capital of Colombia. When you are eating a steak in Bogota, Cartagena, Medellin or Cali, it's quite sure you are eating beef of the Llanos Orientales.
