Today was the last day of the Backroads adventure and ended with a short/relaxing ride prior to saying our goodbyes. After a nice breakfast we all got on our bikes for a ride through Bruges. Today we continued to explore the beautiful city of Brugge & started the day by climbing up the belfry. The climb to the top of the belfry is 366 steps up a very narrow, winding spiral staircase. The bells chimes on every hour but every quarter of an hour, something very special happens. ... Kiosk, which was across the road we used their fancy desks to find a local brewery were mark very enthusiastically decided we should go next. The brewery Mark and Ross thoroughly enjoyed. They made their beer out of Gruut which is a secret herb mixer instead of hops. Mark is now planning on getting the guys at Plonk in Canberra to stock it.
