... atmosphere, we were also lucky enough to have a dry day! We stopped by the river to have our picnic and people watch and couldn’t believe our eyes when a dog stopped for a poop and it’s owner not only picked the poop up but then proceeded to ‘wet wipe’ his dog’s bottom…..only in France eh!!!!!

... missed walking up the towers but Liyana came over and we had wine and she cooked us some confit duck out of a can! It was amazing we fired up some potatoes in duck fat as well it was the best meal ever! We stayed up late talking and catching up, it was great to see her again I'm so glad that we were able to make it down to Bordeaux and see her I just wish we could have stayed ...
... or air BnB to drop off our bags then head in to town to meet Liyana for dinner, we walk through the streets and Liyana tells us about Bordeaux. We have dinner at this cute little restaurant by the cathedral the food is amazing, then we head to the theatre and the square where there is a carnival in town we wander around a bit before jumping on the tram back to the air ...
... which took 2 hours by following Gypsy's instructions. We certainly saw some different country & the trip was really an important part of the day. It was fun. The paintings were astonishing, and so it was worth it. 9/10/2014. ... In one of the main areas, a massive carnival was being set up, unfortunately it wouldn’t begin until the following week.
