      ... needed gloves and a beanie to keep the morning frosty chill at bay... Another day on the Senda, perhaps my favourite days so far. Other people complain about the monotony of the straight path and scenery; I prefer to see it as an opportunity for my body to get into a rhythm that then flows into my psyche...       ... but I have had them now for about 14 months, did a lot of training walking in them, and so far on the Camino I have walked about 460 kms!!!! Today we have walked from El Burgo Ranero to Mansilla de las Mulas along a senda (gravel pathway) alongside an asphalt road. Its ******* the feet and my left heel has been painful today.
