      ... I told her I didn't understand and I'm from Australia, and she smiled and said something about Australia in Spanish. Not long after Cheryl joined me at which point the lady broke into song..a beautiful reward for today's walk? The other reward was the very fine meal! Finally a few vegetarian choices so I had mushroom risotto and a vegetable dish followed by a kiwi fruit and some apple liquor :) Hopefully tomorrow brings some nice scenery ...

      ... out to me and gives me two pairs of women's hiking socks for free. Either this was his way of giving to the Camino, or I looked totally pathetic. lol. I am very appreciative and I make sure he understands that. Lovely young man. I make my way back toward the Hotel to put on some socks and then the new shoes.       ... magic...with their promise of what's to come over the next two weeks as I continue my journey into Santiago de Compostela and on to Finisterra on the mighty Atlantic Ocean, the ocean I was first introduced to when I travelled to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren in Ireland.       ... was impressed at first but everything was spotless. It only holds about 10 people in our section but has a lovely garden and kitchen. Warren read the guest book and some Australians had reported the best breakfast along the Camino and a tranquil stay.
      We booked in, showered, and washed our dusty clothes and were able to hang them up on a clothes line with pegs, what a luxury.
