Yes, we finished the afternoon with a visit to the Sapporo beer museum and garden.
Bryan was keen on returning to the hostel for a brief snooze in prep for night out on the town. Still adjusting to the time change, we all slept through until 3 a.m. It’s probably for the best as we had to pick up our car rental at 8 a.m. the following morning.

... at the supermarket we went to. I picked up what I think is octopus jerky and this weird apple/jelly chunk yogourt drink. Also, you can get this 20% water/vodka type drink for dirt cheap here. To Sapporo on Peach Airlines
... Perhaps Otaru would have better weather. Best Western was really convenient i.e 5 minutes walk right across the station and though it was too early to get our rooms , we check in our luggage and we were off to Otaru. But decided to check out the trains to Furano for the next morning.
