      We reluctantly say good bye to Rancho El Perrolita, and Wendy drives back down one of the Arroyos to the coast road and to the house. We spend a bit of time with Wendy before going to pack up and get to sleep. Tomorrow is a big driving day, we want to be on the road by 7 am for a 9 hour drive to get up to San Igancio by tomorrow night, so the following morning we can go to the San Igancio Lagoon and go on a Panga to meet the Grey Whales up ...

      ... across the bay to Tobasco beach (this is our "hangout" beach). There we spent about 90 minutes collecting bottle caps, cigarette butts and plastic bits. The tour operators along the beach thanked us profusely for our help, saying that they also clean up, but that it's such an on going battle, with conscientious people on one side and not conscientious people on the other.
