    We rise to a dark,cloudy looking LA morning. And after a quick freshen up, it was off to LAX to our original flight to Cabo, Mexico. Took forever, but got to check in and through customs in time to throw down some breakfast and hit some wi-fi we boarded, also delayed a good half hour. Easy flight with a quick nap on American Airlines and awake with a black coffee to get the brain into gear. ...

    After 3 days and 1000 miles, I finally reached the tip of the Baja California Peninsula – Cabo San Lucas.

    I wasn't really sure what to expect, but knew it had some bad ass arch to mark Lands End so wanted to go see that, whilst spending a bit of time on a beach… kind of important as it was too hot and humid to do anything else. And this (33 Degrees average) was in autumn – think I would actually die in the summer.

    ... Lucas, and stopped off in San Jose to have dinner in the popular restaurant, The Hangman. We enjoyed an interesting hot chocolate with a Mexican twist, fried bean soup and tasty tacos, different from the standard ones such as “Pollo a la Espaņola” Spanish style chicken. Mmm.

    ... a cocktail in hand (virgin for me) and get ushered to our room for the week. After becoming acquainted with a week-long home away from home we get into our bikinis and head to the pool bar by the beach. Where else would one go on a Sunday afternoon?!
