We called Wendy to let her know we would be later than thought, but would be there soon. Fortunately the rest of the trip was a bit more
uneventful! I got to spend more time in
the sunshine both by the pool, outside and on the beach. Of course sometimes it got a little hot for a
furry cat like me and I had to find a shady spot!
... sailed past Divorce Beach… Divorce Beach is the place where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean and it can look absolutely calm and beautiful to swim in… and despite the HUGE warning signs EVERYWHERE for people to NOT swim.. people get in… and an undertow will take them away or huge waves will come crashing-in with no notice whatsoever… and people drown there… pretty much every month. Interesting choice of names for beaches, huh?

Near it are Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach - a stretch of beach that runs between the rocks and is on the Sea of Cortez on one end (Lovers) and the Pacific Ocean (Divorce) on the other.
