... The accommodation was I guess the typical Swiss chalet you would expect, lots of dark wood ceilings and furniture, certainly not my style, but a nice change and experience. The hotels, restaurants and shops are heated perfectly, so as soon as you walk in you want to stay rather than go back out into the cold, I don't think I would love this place in winter, but then I am sure the view of the mountains with snow would be worth it.

I am sometimes amazed at the quality of Tour Guides provided for Bus Tours. We are currently on a 52 seat coach and we have 45 people on the tour. So our first taste of the Swiss Alps was excellent! Hope we can come back later and spend more time here. Tomorrow, we are heading back north to the Rheinfall, then the Black Forest area, and we plan to stay in Baden-Baden overnight.
