... with the Alps surrounding us and the beautiful coastline. Then, a 15 minute hike from the waterfront at Weggis to take a cable car up to the halfway point of the mountain - this was thrilling as well! And then the train up past the snow line to the very windy and cold cloud covered peak!! Very fun.
Several hours later, we went back down to Weggis and caught another boat back to Lucerne where we began our routine pack-up and prep to move on to Zurich the next day.

... the town of Lucerne, where we were staying in a renovated jail! Kinda cool but also kinda weird, and claustrophobic.
We went on a cruise on the lake which was really fun, then headed to dinner where I had super expensive fish'n'chips and watched the others try Swiss fondue.
It was a quieter night ready for Paris the next day.

... was really not much to see besides fog. We had a snow fight!
Whilst it was unfortunate that the weather didn't clear for us, you know what. We made the most of it anyway. We can't always count on everything to go as smoothly as we want. The weather will do what it wants and at the end of the day, we were in Switzerland making new friends! I would rather experience Switzerland at its worst than not experience it at all.
