We decided to take a slower start today. Mother is getting tired from all the walking and cold weather; she gets chilled quite easily these days.  Today it is drizzly but thankfully not as cold as Paris. So after breakfast we all walked back to the car to see what was up, and the lock worked and we could start the car. Kind of a fluke. Oh well, we'd be turning this car in today in Berlin anyway. Why, you may ask? This is a very controversial display because it is said that the 250 feet of the Parthenon frize as well as the large number of other statues and figures may have been taken illegaly by the Earl of Elgin in the early 1800’s and therefore should not be on display in London but should be returned to Athens. This controversy however didn’t have any effect on our visit, ...

She was most intrigued that we had been there only 2 years ago so I gave her the name of the UK company we had booked through. John, the man, was a fan of the Sydney Swans. Ingrid, our guide was very informative explaining all the stages of Berlin's and the Reichstag's history during the 20th century. ...

... is it 10) minutes either side of the advertised time.

So now we are in Berlin at the Wohnmobil Park. What is called a 'stellplatz', more of a stopover place than a resort, so motorhomes are pretty well packed in. Just enough space to put our awning out, with chairs and table. But it's terrifically placed for getting to and from Berlin, and quite inexpensive. Planning for today includes the Museum Island etc. Weather forecast is for sun, and 29C.

          Oh, and the ...
