So, despite the language barrier we started off the week with huge expectations!
With great excitement - on our second day, I made my way down to the secured and much talked about spa area. Today we had a break in the weather and decided to explore the mountain nearest to us, we caught the chairlift up to the highest peak and walked back...Frank met us at middle station where we stopped for coffee as after his knee surgery he can't walk down the mountain, the descent took us 3 hours to complete and very sore muscles the next day. We left this beautiful location for a three hour drive - much of it within the Alps - to Bled Slovenia. I will never tire of the seeing the Austria homes (with their window boxes overflowing with colorful flowers) on the hillside. Awesome sights this day!
Today was our big day of travelling leaving Huissen (Holland) and travelling to Austria. We left home at 5am and traveled across Germany until we finally arrived in Rauris Austria at 4pm.
