    ... and needs a recuperative rest in the shade before going on! It is a very very hot day. So after we have regained our equilibrium, we continue on. We try to get a photo with Bart and Marg (Simpson) but are told, sorry, the line finishes right before you! Weird.     ... to the San Andreas faultline. We might as well have been located on Pompeii prior to the infamous volcano that engulfed the entire city. How they carved out housing and roadways in this uneven terrain is beyond me. It made for scenic sights but also a hell of a lot of stress on your joints.
