Hotel pick up service is excellent. Hotel is also located close to the Airport Subway link which is direct to Seoul (Unseo Station). Staff are friendly and helpful. Good English spoken. Rooms are a good size with all amenities, comfortable and clean. Good value at 77,000 kw a night. A free night tour of Seoul is available.

There was also an orchestra and a saxophone musician there. This Island was also one of the filming sites for the "Wnter Sonata" drama. The lady told us that although the flight was fully booked, there was seating available in the emergency exits. This translates into meaning a shitload of leg room and easy access to the exits in case of a crash. Whoopee!

An early start for me today to pack up and catch the 8:30am KTX (Korea Train Xpress) high speed train to Seoul. I decided to splash out on a first class ticket for ₩74,000, about ₩20,000 more than economy. Apart from free newspapers in a language I don't know very well and more spacious seats in a 2+1 configuration, it wasn't much different to economy.

But this train had a speedometer on the on-board TV screens. We hit 302 km/h at ...

By 10pm we left the mall and missioned it on the metro to Yangson Station to buy train tickets for the next day. We were shattered as we got the 11:30pm metro back to the guesthouse, arriving by midnight. Stayed at Kimchee Guesthouse, Seoul [T&J rating: ...

After lunch i bought my bus ticket and went to explore another part of the city. I walked around many more glorious sites and got to my final destination which was the philosopher's path. This path is a famous trail that people walk down to contemplate life. i waited to around sunset for the crowds to thin out and took my stroll. During the walk one word ...
