This blog will follow my travels with the motorcycle tour company Adriatic MotoTours on two of their guided trips - 'Beautiful Balkans Adventure' and 'Alps Adriatic Adventure' over a period of four weeks. Today I arrived in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, where both tours start and finish. The riding starts in 2 days time but I'm hoping I'll be introduced to my motorbike tomorrow so I ...

We walk by him and he is taking a picture of a storefront with mannequins dressed in lingerie. He sees us, smiles and says "that should be a good photo." For dinner, we land in a pizzeria. Shocking. I've had some great pizzas this trip, There was the ham and hot pepper in Dubrovnik. The smoked salmon, caper and onion in Split. A ham ...

... to our driver; Andre, we all climbed onboard and headed out of Italy and into the spectacular country of Slovenia. Said to be one of the most picturesque countries in Europe I was really keen to get there and experience it for myself.

I was not disappointed. The landscape changed dramatically as we left Italy and before long we were surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks just rising up and touching the sky, the base all a vivid green from the recent rains. ...
