We are all feeling a bit tired today so plan to have a fairly easy day. First up some shopping at BTC shopping area just on the outskirts of Ljubljana. 450 shops over several city blocks. We didn't look at them all but spent a couple of hours wandering round and making several purchases. Then a 50 kilometre drive to Lake Bled, through some pretty countryside, heading towards the alps. They rise up on the horizon and tower over the countryside. ...

I think that in my entire time at Lake Bohinj I saw about twenty other people walking around the lake. When I first saw Lake Bled, I was surrounded by at least fifty people. One of the interesting parts of the castle was seeing ...

... br> We woke and pretty much made our way straight to the car hire via a stop at a bakery for some breakfast and pack some lunch. We met our colleagues as planned and after finalising the paperwork we were shown to our car. It wasn't as difficult the second time around driving on the right had side, as it only took me a few minutes to adjust. Before we knew it we had, by joint team effort, navigated our way out of Ljubljana and were cruising our way down south-west on the ...

... I had dinner with her and her friend, and we went to a free concert. It is currently the summer festival of Ljubjana, so there were concerts going on all of the time. While it was good, I think that it would have been much more enjoyable if I spoke the language because the songs all told stories. Afterwards we went to a performance arts piece, which also would have made sense if I could have understood the language! Anyways, it was still good to see ...
