I tactfully retreated around the corner and took in the view a bit more, and then they sauntered around as if nothing had happened and asked me to take their photo (I can just imagine how that went up on the Facebook page: “Look, it’s me and Anna after she was sick over the side of one of Europe’s historical monuments!”) After taking some more photos and admiring the view, ...

There were drunk people fighting in the streets, men with black leather jackets looking for money and it ...

Had a very lovely weekend with my friends. On Saturday we celebrated Kelly's birthday by going to a park in Ghent and having a picnic. We lucked out with the weather during our lunch. After we ate, Kelly got her presents. :) We all managed to get a bit sunburned. Then we started walking around the lake, stopping by a jungle gym and having some fun. ;) Our friend Evelien lives in Ghent so we stopped by her new place afterwards. It was really really nice! We stayed ...

... us as well and stayed the night. It was such a great night! Today we hung out in Sint-Niklaas. We met up with the girls and had lunch. For the first time I ate a Belgian waffle in Belgium. About time probably. ;) It was really warm today, about +30C, so I melted a couple of times. We went back to Aline's place and drew /wrote on mugs. You bake them afterwards so the color sticks. Unfortunately I wasn't given the talent of being ...
