Had a very lovely weekend with my friends. On Saturday we celebrated Kelly's birthday by going to a park in Ghent and having a picnic. We lucked out with the weather during our lunch. After we ate, Kelly got her presents. :) We all managed to get a bit sunburned. ... us as well and stayed the night. It was such a great night! Today we hung out in Sint-Niklaas. We met up with the girls and had lunch. For the first time I ate a Belgian waffle in Belgium. About time probably. ;) It was really warm today, about +30C, so I melted a couple of times. We went back to Aline's place and drew /wrote on mugs. You bake them afterwards so the color sticks. ... Brussels, because of all the tiny little bookstores that are just everywhere! I must have driven Kim crazy when I HAD to go in almost all of them, but the stores sell antique and secondhand books for reasonable prices, so it would be silly to pass them up!
Now, we're back at our hostel, resting for a bit (we've been walking SO MUCH!) before we head out to a grocery store to pick up some stuff for dinner:-) Will post pictures as soon as I have access to a USB port!
