... the size as it is now. We did a little audio tour inside the cathedral, even though it got a little bit boring at times, it was interesting to listen and I am sure I have learnt quite a lot about the Sagrada Familia. But that wasn't all, we also got to go up a lift to the top of the cathedral to the viewing point as I said we did earlier on, there was a spectacular view of all of Barcelona. So yesterday it was off to the waterfront to check out the cafes next to the columbus monument. Fairly impressive and the coffee and little breakfast cakes covered in ...

Whe we got up we cracked the special bottle of wine we picked up on Pete's birthday and consumed it with some nice cheese , olives and chorizo. Pete christened the corkscrew of the Lagiole knife we got him on his birthday by opening the bottle. The wine was as good as we remembered. It is a fantastic 2008 Almerian Tempranillo from Bodegas Perfer. Just after 5pm we all walked over to Barceloneta , which is one of the ...
