Today we had a bit of a late start cuz we were so tired after arriving at 3am from the airport... We first explored la Boquaria, which is the big market on la rambla. We had their fresh juices which were amazing and only one euro. Then we metrod over to parc gueull, which is a famous parc designed by antoni guadi. We climbed up the mountain and got an amazing view of all Barcelona. Afterwards we went to sagrada famillia but didn't go inside. The night was pretty rad. We went out for ...

... saints day is a public holiday in Catalonia and I wasn't sure if the ticket office would be open on a Sunday. so I figured it was best to get in a bit early and book my tickets. ... street in Barcelona. We quickly found a really cool, modern restaurant called Cer el Cle which was up on this large terrace. It was beautiful and the atmosphere was so cool. My mom and I just people watched and listened to all the different languages around us. We had Jamon again *Spain's most famous dish*, a mozzarella and tomato salad, and Paella! So delicious.
First day in Spain was a success, and I can't wait for more adventures!
