    ... watched the sunset, and ate ice cream. On our way back, we took the metro which was overly packed! At the last minute, we all got on the train, however the doors closed on Chandler. We left without Chandler! We were very worried he didn't know where to go so Weston got out at the next stop and waited for him. We all met up at the ending station! Thank god! We walked to our hostel, took showers, and got in bed. Tomorrow will be a busy day! ...

    ... and even a marijuana seed shop... Our Spanish is getting a bit better, and by a bit better I mean we are not saying 'hola' to everything because that is the only word we know. We are just having our own siesta before we go out to a jazz and tapas bar for dinner. Quite nice just laying here and hearing the church bells go off ...... and the Italian couple screaming at each other down the hall, very European!!! ADIOS ...

    ... box with the necessary paperwork etc. We then headed off to Casa Batllo, another Gaudi creation. It was a beautiful building and, as I had purchased express tickets on line, we walked straight in. The building is extraordinary and people still live in a number of the apartments.     ... took some photos of the exterior. The block that Batllo inhabits is also known as the "block of discord." When you look up and down that block, it is as if architects were trying to out do one another. Again, in a very expensive area of town, there is one block that appears to have been a design free for all. It was fun to see the creativity that went into these facades. Barcelona has way too much to offer to hope we can see it all in one day, so we have to make some very tough decisions.
