... was a surprising garden, owned by the Foundation that runs the museum. It was very simple with enormous trees including one of the largest eucalypts I have ever seen. Sometimes the little unexpected attractions turn out to be the best.

Another reason for visiting this area is to be found in Comillas, only about 12kms away. Antonio Gaudi designed his first house in this beautiful seaside town, which today bustles with tourists especially those ...

... doing homework and going to bed. Now what am I to do??

Not only am I going to miss Santander, I am going to miss the people. We got to know Dutch, Spanish, and British people really well, and it finally hit me that it is going to be hard to see them go!

Looking ahead to this weekend, I really need some rest! There will be a LOT of touring for the next few days, and before I know it, we will all be heading home!

    Until Salamanca!

... teared up again during this! Everyone in the whole room who was from WV (quite a bit of us) were all singing along and having a great time. What a great experience! We then all got our diplomas and took a group picture. I just can't believe it's all over! It's been such a wonderful experience.

Well, tomorrow we are heading out to go to Salamanca! It will be a busy weekend, but Ashley and I will keep you posted!

Tomorrow, there is a ceremony for those of us who will be receiving accreditation from the university. Knowing how much Santander loves to have a reason to celebrate, I hope there will be music and bittersweet tears. I will be sure to keep you posted on how that goes!
