... old town) where we stayed. Still quite a big city though probably a little bigger than Freo. The trip to Chemnitz is relatively short on the Autobahn this time no road works. Chemnitz is smaller again but still bigger than say Bunbury. We took a trip out to the Track (Sachensring, Sachsen as in Saxon - we are in the state of Saxony) and it's near a tiny town of Oberlungwitz. Much like Philip Island in Victoria the town ...

A big hello from the Czech Republic! We crossed the border on our ride from Bad Schandau this morning.

Another early start, this time due to the early morning light not being blocked out by the flimsy curtains. Will put that in my appraisal of the accommodation! There was no signs to town or anything at the station...As we made our way along the road we saw a sign for 'Camp ...

... able way. I'd hoped they weren't English but it turned out they were, self loathing. Experienced soup which was served in an edible bread bowl, always going to go down well. McDonald's serves beer instead of soft drinks, fabulous. Enough reason to visit Prague as any. Got a horrific case of chub rub on my thighs, had to stop and buy nappy rash cream so I could make it back to the hostel. Stood applying it in the street, there was no embarrassment by this point as I had ...

... descent before. I had my brakes on the whole way down, and we only averaged 22 kph for a very long and steep descent. I could not see through my sunglasses so had to rely on poor normal vision. Not a good combo in a thunderstorm. I've never been so happy to safely reach a town and see Sue and Annabelle :) But in hindsight there is only one word for the ride - EPIC !!!! Dinner was whatever was in the cupboard and we enjoyed games and drinks as the washing was ...
