... entirely new and pristine. The inside is entirely new and equally amazing! We went to lunch at a traditional German restaurant - there were lots of locals inside and we took it as a good sign. I was not disappointed! I finally had a German sausage with sauerkraut and it was so delicious! We are back on the bus now and just crossed the border into the Czech Republic! Prague won't be long ...

        Roaming amongst the "Rocks"

It was an early departure the next morning involving three trains, and while on the first one had to quickly jump off, run up a few cars and jump back on to make sure we continued in the right direction. Our next train was a quick transfer to a two car train for a 45 minute ride. Then it was an hour wait at what felt like an abandoned train station before the single car sitting there the entire time' started up ...

What the Aussies do for such a massive event. Quiet night tonight before we leave for Munich via Nuremberg tomorrow! Monday 13th - Longish drive to Munich and we had to skip Nuremberg as there was a massive traffic jam/s which held us up. All up about a 4 hour drive including ...

A big hello from the Czech Republic! We crossed the border on our ride from Bad Schandau this morning.

Another early start, this time due to the early morning light not being blocked out by the flimsy curtains. Will put that in my appraisal of the accommodation! The photos were heavily photoshopped! Not to worry. We reversed the order of our plans for the day. Packed and then loaded up the bikes before heading into the village centre ...

... was great, civilisation; or so we thought
There was beautiful derelict buildings, pristine gardens, no litter, no noise and NO HUMANS! The camp site looked empty until a woman and her daughter approached the reception window. She was happy to see us and we got settled.

The most active thing in the village were two single railway crossing lights. Continuously flashing at a steady pace. After playing Call of duty 'nuke town' map with Paul-ryan the week ...
