    We made it to Switzerland and met our program director Steven. He seems like a lot of fun and is very personable. (By the way Rosa and george...Steven remembered the both of you)!!!Met a group of folks from Canada and we enjoyed having lunch with them.     ... idea pretty quickly and headed to the kayak station on the beach. We were given a couple of river kayaks with no skirts or life jackets and were told to stay close to the shoreline. Excellent, we were clearly in the hands of professionals and we are, of course, highly experienced kayakers. Although I enjoyed a wonderful paddle across to Manarola, Andrew was a little less comfortable with the non-adjustable foot rests in the boat meaning that he could no longer feel his feet. ...

    ... back to the station and catch my next train ....hopefully my next destination in the mountains will be a bit cooler ...fingers crossed !! Well it's no cooler ...well maybe slightly from the city heat ....BUT what a magic place ...have I said that before ...this maybe my fav.
