During the walk we stopped at a small poor looking bamboo building. We entered and inside we found a local 'Starbucks’. The owner of this coffee shop is 95-year-old woman who still hand grinds the coffee beans each day in a mortar and pestle. She is the oldest person in this particular village so locals gather in the evenings to talk and gossip with her, as you do in ...
... roaming around preying and meditating. A few boys were even bathing in the confines of a holy fountain, whose water is meant to be the 5th freshest in the world. It was quiet a sight and one that was enjoyed for a while as we waited for the rain to ease when it had started to pour.
The hike back was easier as it was on a main road and the old body appreciated this. Dinner and the rest that quietly came afterwards too were appreciated. ...
