... VAN! Boy, am excited to board it because it's my first time! Another ride I can put it down to the list of vehicles I have taken! Our journey is a 10 hrs drive to our destination in East Java, the Blawan coffee plantation as it's located at Ijen Plateau (the volcano that we are heading to experience sulfur harvesting).

Unfortunately, our vehicle's air-cond broke down in the middle of the journey, and we had ...

... headed into a rice paddy. Again we crossed some interesting characters that worked on the fields. The journey through the paddy showed beautiful views and before long we were heading across a tiny bamboo bridge back into the village.

No one checking liquids, only one x ray and pay the 150 000rp departure tax at check in.
      Hmmm not good for security.
The airport is very basic, much less than Perth airport and that's saying something.
We walk towards our gate to find a comfy seat and I spot the executive lounge.
I enquire and for 100 000rp ($10) we get food, drinks (no alcohol) lounge seats and wifi.
That's 2 cups of coffee at home so we say yes please, 3 ...

... an almost impossible feat in Indonesia. Too tired to get on bike looking for food so retreated to bed to sleep. All good until about 11pm when I was woken by loud music coming from the empty restaurant. Car park now FULL and Karaoke in full swing. I think I have found the answer to the war on terrorism. Instead of spending countless millions on war machines just set up thousands of secret Karaoke parlors in Muslim countries where people can burn up ...
