... That's where we are right now. The end is very near. Our walk today was very similar to yesterday. Some small ups and downs in the foothills of the mountains. I didn't take many pics today as Cindy and I talked a lot or I was just deep in my own thoughts. Our pensíon for the night does not have WiFi so I walked back a way to the last restaurant. While sitting outside, I watched a mother cow and her very new born ...

Had a good walk but we were ready to drop the packs when we arrived in Vilacha. We were greeted by a wonderful Danish woman, Annmarie. All the alb were full everywhere. When we called Annmarie originally she only had one bed. But offered Stew a floor mattress if no one cancelled. We lucked out as someone did cancel which gave Stew a bed. The place was very clean and ...

... their stuff out, get fed and watered then chill out. I and often Hedley with me head off and explore the villages and meadows (allowed to walk across fields). It's really good to get any stiffness out from the day. Oh and a quick bit of enjoying the sun and not coming back home to Oz such a whitey is a good fun thing to do too *laughing*.
Yesterday had lunch of pulpa (octopus) that Galicia is famous for. They have good reason to be famous, best ...

          ... on U tube.
          5. Then there was this special poor box. We are familiar with the votive candle offering- make an offering, light a candle and say a prayer. Here was one where one's offering is to reduce a flame- the flames of purgatory for someone you know- I must admit I was tempted to put all my money in as a personal insurance.
and as Kurt said so often in his book -" so it goes" and so I go until next time with prayers and thanks for your encouragement.
