    ... I do know Italian, some of the pushy drivers knew exactly what my gesticulations meant and I understood theirs easily enough. Bruce could not find the place of our accommodation but a kind lady took us there.     ... remain in our hearts as our favorite European city. We were awed by the northern city of Bolzano and so thankful we got to experience the Dolomites. We were enchanted by the magic of the lakes, especially Lake Como, with low-lying clouds, misty mornings, twinkling evening lights.     ... scared he would see it...... So anyway, poor Paul was left to get Luca stripped off and rinse out his clothes and car seat. I cleaned him up best I could and put him in some spare clothes of Nicolas' that we just happened to have in the car. (note -always travel with spare clothes for all kids!!!).
