... outside to wait for the hotel shuttle bus. Both Christian and I found the airport a bit warm so it was very refreshing outside. After a short ride we arrived at the Hotel Nikko Narita. We checked in, dropped our stuff in the room and went exploring the hotel main floor. At Lawson's, a convenience store, we picked up refreshments and snacks for our room. The ...

Once onboard it's the usually bustle of meeting with the ...

My host nephew (Tasu) fell asleep not long after the fireworks display finished. He's a bit old for a pusher so there was no alternative but to carry him to the train station and all the way home. It totally amazed me that someone could fall asleep like that and be completely oblivious to everything. It was like he was unconcious. I was fascinated! I think this ...

... the hill some more looking for Shin-Shoji Temple.

At last we had arrived as it was a beautiful sight. We walked into the entrance (free of charge, yay) and under a tower with two guardians protecting it. We came to a bridge and to my surprise noticed it was FULL of turtles. I think between the two ponds there must have been 50 turtles big and small. There were also some koi fish swimming around trying to steal the bread a man was dropping into the water right out ...
