After I arrived at Narita International Airport at 23:00, I stayed overnight in a couch of the airport. On the next day, I headed for Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. The temple is famous and popular among Japanese and I was eager to go some day. When I arrived at the temple, there were only few visitors in the temple. I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but I enjoyed strolling in their quiet garden behind the temple ...

... Burberry, and Tiffany (yeah, like I'm one of those who would go get a diamond necklace while waiting for my flight! 😞) it was a bit tempting just to go in and check stuff out but my conscious did knock some sense into me. If I'm not buying or can't afford to buy, definitely best just to look away. The one interesting thing that I found in Narita is that they have big signs directing people to prayer rooms. ...

... us and 60 odd other travelers from Narita to Haneda. It wasn't just our flight that got this detour. It's important to maintain a little perspective. It's easy to be annoyed by this or even put out. It's just as easy to write this off as"First World Problems." But watching the children who are being dragged around the airport by their parents during this diversion, I am reminded that this is just another adventure. Hopefully we get to see a little of Tokyo by night on this ...

    Jasmines Flying Carpets
    Sinbads Storybook Voyage

Disneysea would be my favourite of the parks as the rides are more exciting.

The story's and atmosphere at Disney parks really add a lot to the enjoyment of the rides. Even when you can't understand a word of what is being said.

Tomorrow we are back to Shinjuku for our last nigh in Japan :( We fly out on Saturday night.

... such a sense of satisfaction. I think when you're overseas you can sometimes feel like you have to adjust your personality to fit in with those around you. Which as long as you don't renounce your 'former self' is not necessarily all bad. But then you catch up with someone from that culture who has similar life experience and BAM(!), you get to be completely honest. And you instantly feel understood despite speaking in your second language. Which is golden.
