    ... What we gave was a cheap thrill to those walking past our tent. What 'we' won was the Ashes.

    Woke up, without having really slept, moved. Took advantage of an early leaver and we now have the best spot on the campsite. SHADE!!! Yes Helga, shade. Always pitch your tent in the shade...when possible. Ain't gonna make that much difference when the temperature is equivalent to a Roooooooooooot innings (sorry, lost you again) but we can but try.     Trzic, Slovenia to Senj, Croatia 142 miles

    And...they're in Croatia. Still some 200 miles from Split but we realised we don't really know why we had that as an end destination anyway, though that's not to say we won't still end up there. But only if we really fancy a trip to the island of Brac. Otherwise, no sat nav equals no cities.

    ... church with a cemetery so we began our quest to find some Kroncich history. We all split up and searched headstones. I was so thrilled when I spotted a headstone with the family name.
