      ... season biking holiday!

Our overnight stop is in just such a bay, in the Hotel Lux in Jablanac. Happily only one motorhome in sight! It turns out to be a great choice - pretty little bay with just enough custom to make it lively without being overwhelming. Mein host comes out to greet us but sadly without the free welcoming beer! Oh well, can't have everything! Rooms are comfortable with balconies, food is good and staff friendly.Shame about the giant TV on the ...

The rain has stopped and it's been a warm and sunny day. It's a "rest day" today with no planned riding, so I explored the local area on foot, including the nearby village of Veli Losinj and the town 4km away of Mali Losinj. A fab sail up the 17 miles with the wind just dieing as we pulled into Punat to have a look around before going of to Krk main town for the evening. A great safe bay with monastry and marina , worth noting for return trip! On arrival in Krk we drop anchor outside to test if safe but end up picking it up and heading onto town quay as think we may go out and have few beers whilst inspecting the old town. Another lovely old town and good ...

After a morning swim in crystal clear waters we head off to the Nirthern part of the Island. Beautiful bays all the way up the west side but as we round the top the winds invpcreased and seas were very choppy. We guessed we were now feeling the impact of the winds falling off the mountains on the mainland. we decide to tuck into a little bay behind the Island Mamam as ...
