... the local government at the time to indulge his lifestyle. We decided to stick to the main by of town and not venture into King Edward's lifestyle though. Later in the day we went to go see a sandcastle competition in Krk, the largest town and also the name of the island. The temperature again was around 37 Celsius so we took a break and went for ice cream. Em had had enough or fortress and old city walls at this ...

We rented an amazing 2 story apartment right in a small harbor in the town of Klimno. The island is famous for its caves and a beach with healing ...

... how of it all. I located the correct counter and asked for a ticket to Jasenovak. What I got in return was a cold Balkan stare as if to say "Why do you want to go there?" A few people boarded the train with me, and we headed east for the Bosnian-Croatian border where Jasenovac is located along the Sava River. The train ride was pleasant, and I was able to catch up on some reading and blogging. By the time we reached the train stop in Jasenovac, it was 2:00, and ...

Still close to perfect weather for us. Close to 30C during the day and very little wind. However, change is in the air and The Bora – a cold wind, is due and then rain on Thursday. We also had news that friends from London, will be on Hvar Island over the weekend. I
decided Dave needed space to load Brutus so took myself off for a walk. The hilltop castle was the goal but there were lots of gems along the ...
