      Karliana and I leisurely strolled downstairs for some free breakfast at the hostel and discovered slim pickings. Turns out that being in a hostel this big really puts a damper on the amount of food one can get if they arrive later on. I couldn't differentiate which dishes were clean and which were dirty.       ... in the US. It combined the tradition of the Spanish celebration of the Spanish culture with the American eating culture of heavy consumption of food. It was honestly so good and just writing about it makes me want to fly to Barcelona to just get another sandwich.

      ... unless it is to go. We had to fetch our check at lunch, the pastry break, and dinner. They expect you to stay, and we could have chatted all afternoon, but our time is limited in Barcelona, so we kept moving. It kept us awake because every time we sat down, we slowed down.

      Tomorrow it's the Sardana at noon at the Barcelona Cathedral, La Rambla, and we board our ship.
