    Mediterranean robins have bright red tails rather than rosy breasts. I had the company of two friendly birds as I tore bemudan grass out of the ground today, tugging long lengths that ripped at my hands and snapped.     Tunisia to Menorca in 36 hours at 11 knots, sat in the restaurant having a meal I could have sworn we were passed by a fish we were going so slow.     ... footwear, the top fashioned from animal hide with soles made from old tyres. She went to the back of the shop and produced a fair dinkum example, very well-used, as you can see from the photo, which had belonged to her grandfather's friend. I bought a pair! In better condition than grandfather's friend's were, of course.
