      Day 39

... massive bruise on her bum. We continued around the island looking at caves, waterholes and private beaches. Fighting the wind to get back to the beach we realised we were to late and missed bus home so we got to spend a little more time at the beach then a massive hike up to the bus stop. We walked home getting pizza/pasta on the way then played drinking games for the rest of the ...

... room we freshened up and went to am organised dinner....3 courses of amazing food but **** wine. We then all boarded a bus for an hour bus ride to Cova D'en Xoroi, a nightclub in a cave on the side of a cliff....view was amazing. The 10km walk starts with a kilometre along the sandy beaches which look stunning iwith blue sky and turquoise sea. It's a shame to leave as the walk cuts up the limestone gorge but it is equally impressive with trees, scrub, wild flowers against the white limestone. It's hot and eventually we arrive at the Cova de Coloms, ...

A bus trip to the other end of the island to Ciutadella. Although early the 10.15 bus from Mahon is crowded, some standing! We both sleep on the us but wake as we approach Ciutadella. This town is a little gem, lovely old town, cathedral, port, a couple of large plazas one of which is dominated by an out of character obelisk. A walk out to harbour ...
