It is probably the most glorious day we have had since leaving Brisvegas on 9th Dec 2014, wow has it really been that long!!!! This is Nice airspace, though, so I started getting vectored around for traffic, finally given a descent over the ocean south of Cannes for the approach. Just after Sisteron (a lovely picturesque town – see some photos below), I came across a fruit shop with all sort of seasonal fruits from local producers – I bought a little fruit snack and went on hoping to stop in some lovely place for a little rest.

Suddenly my TomTom suggested to turn off the main road to Cannes (perhaps, it was playing a trick of avoiding any toll road on the way?), and ...
