    Coming back into Romania, the increase in wealth was clearly visible and a trip to the old Austro-Hungarian town of Braşov confirmed this. As we write this, Clare and I are in Bran and plan to visit the Castle tomorrow. This is the setting for Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula and is our first tourist-y visit of the week.
