    ... off admiring the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains, marvelling at the weirdness of swimming in the Swiss alps........ they tell me it was freezing, but to be expected.
    Home again, up the 150 steps, mike in the kitchen, rest time, cards, drinks, dinner and bed.

    ... our list was a souvenir stores. We had a few things we wanted to pick up. I realized this is the first time I've stepped into one of these stores since we moved. I guess why do I need a souvenir if I'm living in the city. When I think of Switzerland I think of chocolate, watches, fondue and Ricola. I do not think of cows but when we went to the store there were cows every where. What is with the cows? I didn't realize they were know for cows. Anyone shred some light on this?

    ... a couple people who looked local cross so I figured it was safe. We got to drachenfels shortly after this and luckily it was open. It was 8:50 and the first train didn't leave until 9 so weren't sure when it open.
