... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. Pizzas are good here (unlike Rome). We then followed Fabio's advice and caught the ferry into Como. On Friday we were planning to go into an old town about an hours drive away which looked quite nice, but it was pouring rain all day so we decided not to. Driving around here is bad enough never mind with the rain! Instead we just went for a walk into the town and starting filling in some of the forms for uni and just had a relaxing day inside.

... luck in the small villages along the Fiume Adda. But after about 10 Km I saw a small garage that looked open so I stopped.
The guy didn't speak english but we managed with hand signals pointing and showing him that I wanted 10W40. I needed a new speedo cable as well, but he didn't have any for an old Japanese bike. Fair enough, I know roughly how fast I am going.
