I had a wonderful opportunity through Made For Spain to stay at this hotel. It was hands down 5 star all the way. From the minute I walked in the door, the service was exceptional. I was earlier than check-in, yet they were waiting for my arrival and my room was ready for me after my long day of travelling. I took a tour of the rooms and each one is completely different. You can feel the history and uniqueness of each room. I had dinner in the dining room with the hotel manager. Made fro Spain and several friends and the 5 course meal was something to definitely write home about. I am not a foodie by any means, but I loved everything they brought out. The lobby had such a wonderful ambiance with the winding staircase that you can see from below and the beautiful flower centerpiece. I also enjoyed the bar which has a 1940's feel and the bartenders and wait staff were on point and made me feel very welcome. They even have pictures on the wall of celebrities that have stayed there. On my last morning I had their breakfast buffet and their were a variety of wonderful foods to choose from, for those that wanted a light breakfast you can pick from the buffet or you could order something made to order. The location of the property was also amazing. It is right next to the Prado and you can walk to shopping from the hotel. I would stay here again and will continue to recommend it all my clients staying in Madrid.

In October of 2015, I was given an opportunity to experience Madrid with Virtuoso's Made For Spain. My flight from LAX had a stopover in Atlanta. I arrived the following morning into Madrid. I took a shuttle to the gorgeous Hotel Ritz. I was greeted immediately as I entered and was in awe of the gorgeous decor of the lobby. The hotel was built it …

          A huge park

Today we are going to a park. It was meant to be a huge park. We arrived at the park at around noon. It was very dry, there was only planted trees, there was a park with fun flying fox. It was really fun. I didn't know how to use this strange slide, it was just two metal bars that were look like a slide. Dad said that I had to slide down with my legs, I ...

Day 3, our final full day in Madrid, commenced with a good sleep in. We woke, showered and headed out in time for a late lunch at one of the restaurants in the square down below our apartment. Everything looked quite proper from a distance, with linen table cloths and waiters standing around welcoming passer-by's in for a meal. However, once up close, we were further reminded ...

The reason I got up so early is because sometimes tour guides will show up early in the queue and buy like, 100 tickets at once for a couple bus loads of people. So the ...

I wasn't scared, because I assumed it was Marie who had been trying to scare us earlier but I turned to Nat and her face was pale and she said she felt sick. I asked what the door was, and she explained it was the cellar and that a few people who have been down there had sworn that it was 'haunted'.

Showering was quite a challenge, I had to hold the rose whilst showering and there was no curtain so the water covered the bathroom ...
