Then we have to remember that in the large cities there are plaques cemented in the sidewalks. So that helps. We arrived at the municipal albergue about 1 and the line was out the door. Fortunately we got beds for 5 euros which is great. We showered, and went for guess what???? A ...

... dried (in a tumble drier!), so it was a pretty successful morning all round. The only other thing on the list was to visit Burgos cathedral, which is a magnificent structure entirely, and full to the brim of ornate, and probably priceless, artwork. We agreed afterwards that Pamplona cathedral was more interesting and enjoyable, but you couldn't really leave Burgos without seeing this one. It took so long to see all the tombs and bishops ...
