At the foot of Glandon the event was halted for 15mins whilst they choppered away somebody injured for a crash. Chris told me later that he was stopped on Glandon as well for 45mins for another chopper evacuation.

Glandon was uncomfortable for me but at least the scenery was magnificent, rolling green hills, craggy rocks, waterfalls, little forrests plus the odd village or two....made it interesting.

... ready for the weekly helicopter delivery. This sounded like setting to see, so we found a spot on a nearby hill and watched the show with a family from Scotland. It was fascinating!! They hauled and delivered many loads. They even delivered a washing machine! The helicopter was very precise in the drops... Put the fuel right into a hole in the ground that was not much bigger than the canister. Then, we headed off to Refugio Elena- our last stop in Italy. It was a simply lovely ...

Anyway, we found that after the chief-naviguesser searching all our camping-site books, and me checking my camping apps on the ipad, in our target Cremona, there were no camps, so I resorted to good old Google....
