... The lake was lovely today. The further out you go the clearer the water it was lovely and warm towards the surface and cool but not cold underneath. It was very easy to swim in no current no waves no salt I reckon given enough time I could swim the whole lake but it would take while I don't think you could rush anything here! The park was fun. ...

... is I got it wrong again! We are not packing up tonight we have one more day here, hurrah! The best thing about this site is it is very easy to relax. No urgency, people pottering around, kids riding their bikes about or jumping off the pontoon into the lake. Bobby A great day in the lake we put up ...

Thousands of workers were involved in its construction and to have accomplished what they did was impressive. The area was designated "Führer restricted area" and was a place where the Nazi's planned war crimes, peacetime plans, and genocide. Given the history of the place, it was confronting knowing ...

... and we were in the water needing to cool off. Did I mention alpine waters? It was freezing! Could not spend much more than a few minutes in the water. Pete had a go at jumping off the high point of a dive tower, and after 30 minutes of sunning and swimming it was time to move out of the sun before Pete crisped up. The next destination wasn't a place, it was a road. I read about a stretch of road that laid claim to offering up the best views in Europe. Big call, so it was a must on ...
