... village Obertaurn, they can take us but only in the beautiful campground on the lake. Here they have old French circus carriages that have been converted to "luxury glamping accommodation". Once again we get out of the traditional camping and into our true camping style!

... up. Plus there was this very deep cave in which you looked down, but you are standing on a ledge, with a proper barrier, straight down. It was like one of those children's stories. The cave was discovered in 1910 and it is growing depending on the rain and melted snow. We came out above the entrance and walked 1 km through the cave. ... busy and some tourist from China walked in, instead of waiting to be seated they started to try and move people so they could sit down. The owner was trying to stop them he was not angry just frustrated as they really did not understand what was happening. ... hills. We went through a variety of tunnels of varying lengths at high speed and each time we could catch glimpses of the countryside - farms and woodlands. About half an into the trip we started to go through towns and pass wind farms all at very high speed. We changed trains at Attang-Pulheim . ... the time. The only option was for me to walk back to Bad Aussee. I groaned at the thought of walking back. But there was no other choice.

I raced back to Bad Aussee for fear of missing the train. I had half an hour to spare when I got to the station. The train station was popular with weekend trip makers. By 'popular' I meant a handful of people. The train was punctual and within half an hour I was back in Bad Ischl.
