    ... attempted to get do some booking for my upcoming long weekend trip, but the internet was so bad I spent two hours on it and got nothing booked.     If Positano is an aging socialite, Praiano is definitely the girl next door. Simpler, quieter, spread out along the coast in a more relaxed manner (well, it is all relatve). I think the people who work in Positano live in Praiano – that is the difference.     ... and reminds you even more that you are a female standing by herself at a lonely little street sign reading "Fermata" (or Bus Stop). Luckily the bus came --- about 15 minutes late or right on "Italian Time".

    ... not see any celebrities, but did hear a church tower in our village ring bells every 15 minutes day and night all week. We enjoyed some great beach time and swims in the Mediterranean in the afternoons. This is the home of the famous lemons grown on the steeply terraced slopes above the cliffs that are used to make Limoncello- - a uniquely Italian liqueur. Of course we had to taste and buy.
