This morning we went to Leonardo da Vinci's house, Chateau du Clos Luce in Amboise and saw the house and the gardens. There was a cat at the house which had killed a pigeon on the balcony in the morning and when we were in Leonardo's bedroom, the cat came and sat on the bed, which is apparently quite normal. Someone in the group commented that maybe it was Leonardo reincarnated as a cat. ...

Montoire-sur-Loire is a pleasant and typical small French town, a choice of boulangeries, banks, cafes and bars arranged around the market square.
