    Good service, rooms were comfortable and very authentic seeming.
    In a good part of town with a good view of the city

    Leonardo da Vince wasn't just the artist of the famous painting "The Mona Lisa." He also studied engineering, math and science along with being a great inventor. I got the chance to go to his house in Amboise, France called Clos Lucè. It was pretty… whoa, back up! Didn't Leonardo da Vince live in Italy?     Having said that it is actually a strikingly beautiful building dominated by a wonderfully grand double helix stair case inspired by Leonardo da Vinci.

    We enjoyed the cycle in the grounds and back to St Dye some 8km away.

    ... different buildings have been placed around a central courtyard and roughly joined at the corners!!

    For something different we went to a museum dedicated to magic and Harry Hudini and enjoyed a live magic show. We also sort refuge from the rain in the cathedral to find an organist practicing, this was a wonderful treat.
